Our Mission: Improving the health and well being of adolescents and families
Our program consists of three main components: Life Skills Groups, Counseling Group - H.O.W., Family Night
Drug Education - basic information regarding commonly abused substances and their impact both physically and psychologically
Relapse Prevention - assists the adolescent in identifying and recognizing triggers as well as how to take practical behavioral steps to avoid future use
Emotional Communication - assist the adolescent in identifying and expressing their emotions in a respectful appropriate manner
Anger Management - assists the adolescent in recognizing the role of anger as well as how to express anger in a respectful, non-destructive fashion
H.O.W. - Honesty Openness Willingess - Counseling Group
Honesty with self and others, Openness to new ideas and outside input, Willingness to try new behaviors
One evening a month adolescents and caretakers meet separately to discuss treatment issues and recovery topics. And then meet together for a group process. Pizza and soft drinks provided
